The Bad

Sound Quality

The SonicBuds Elite offer a neutral yet engaging sound profile. The bass is punchy without muddying the mids, and the highs are crisp. Instrumental separation is fantastic, making it easy to pick out individual layers in complex tracks.

Noise Cancellation

AudioMax has outdone themselves here. The ANC effectively silences the hum of an airplane engine and even cuts down significantly on coffee shop chatter. The Transparency mode is equally impressive, sounding natural enough to have a conversation without taking the buds out.

Comfort & Fit

Ships with 4 sizes of silicone tips, ensuring a good seal for most ear shapes. They are lightweight and sit securely, making them suitable for workouts (IPX4 rated).

Battery Life

We got about 6 hours of playback with ANC on, which bumps up to 30 hours with the case. It's decent, but competitors are starting to push 8 hours. Fast charging gives you an hour of play from a 5-minute charge.
